For me, I tend to agree with JVP's position. The rest hate him because they can't back him down with their bs arguments. It is nothing like the old days when the attackers actually resorted to name-calling and threats. It was hilarious to watch stolid JVP rile them to spitting and sputtering fury with a calm outward constant argument.
>This is what I have missed. The rivalry. It reminds me of a story (urban legend?) about these 2 store owners in NYC. The had competing stores right across the street from one another. There would be price wars and articles in the local paper how they couldn't stand one another. They would shout at each other from their storefronts and everyone thought it was a big riot. It also drew a lot of customers into both stores. The story goes that after they died there was a passageway discovered underground that joined the 2 stores. They shared an office and even - some say - owned both companies together. Cute story - likely a myth - though it makes me wonder how many people really don't care about what the shouting is all about and just enjoy the show for the show's sake. It's all become a flurry of activity and I'm not sure anyone really knows the right or wrong of it. I have missed it though.
