I've been trying to keep myself out of this thread because I could hardly believe people were really saying all that non-sense.

There was nothing wrong with the "timing" of the release of the web-site, as people have been complaining about. Just a few hours after Ken Levy has delived his keynote at DevEssentials, showing off VFP 9, I was presenting a session called "VFP and .NET: the best of both worlds" (which pretty much covers you paragraph I just quoted at the top of this message), and I must say I was a bit worried about radicals showing up and throwing stones at me, but what happened was quite the opposite: I've got GREAT feedback from people there, and no one has come to me saying that I was "putting yet another nail on VFP's coffin". I've presented that session again two times after that one, and I kept hearing good things about it.

I still can't believe all the junk that people has posted to this thread.
