Is there a step that I can take after modifying the code in the Methods field that will "recompile" the Methods code and update the ObjCode field. Is this done automatically in a project build when I check off recompile all files?

Two choices: one, after closing the modified .scx, simply issue "Compile form [scx_name_goes_here]". Other, blank the objcode field and/or timestamp field - then it'll know it has to recompile on next build.
