Looks like a bug to me too and it still exist in VFP9.

>If you try this sequence:
>1) Create a form
>2) In the init write this code:
> MessageBox(sys(1271,this))
>You'll se a messagebox with the path of scx file

>3) Cut and paste the code from Init() event to Load() Event
