You're touching on the issue. If the MVP'ers were absolutely swamped with the "flood" of .NET work, you wouldn't see a new version of Web Connection, nor a new version of MM VFP, nor this web site. There would be no time for it.
These same MVP'ers (minus Rick Strahl) last year at this time were bouncing messages on the UT imploring you to get out of VFP before you're "left behind" and into .NET and hand held devices before it's too late. BTW, hand held sales are down this year compared to last year -- I think it's off by 10%. Basically, only people trying to look technologiclly hip have 'em. More importantly, I don't see these same people posting messages indicating they made a mistake.
It wasn't a coincidence that these "get out of Fox while you can" messages were batted around by these MVP'ers just after the Advisor DevCon last year. And all of them are back in VFP.
