In a current development I have a property in the Application registry for sending sales messages to users that are processing orders. I have a caption on the form which is refreshed on a Form refresh with the contents of that property.

If its a system wide message then one way is to create a Codemine Status bar globally and sub-class the refresh method to check for a similar property in the registry. Or add a timer to the Status bar and put up a message dialog when the property changes.

It might be worth looking into System States as well and defining your own State.
