Hi Tibor,
If launching form from a menu is real cause of the problem than you can use a timer as workaround. In the menu you can instantiate a timer with short delay and pass it the name of the form and other info if necassary. The formy will be launched by the timer when it fires.
>I have a VFP6 project that calls Fox2.6 screens from a converted menu. The start-up is in the Setup memo field of the menu, from which all else flows. The menu calls .prg's which in turn call .spr's. I tried to substitute an .spr with a VFP6 form .scx. The result was a form whose controls do not respond, that is, clicking on command buttons, listboxes or a grid produces no response. However, the form is closable and minimizable. When the form is closed normal program execution continues. The problem seems to stem from the menu; if I put a command button on a Fox2.6 screen and call the VFP6 form that way, no problems. Someone suggested that it involves the foundation read/windowtype property. But this clue so far has led me nowhere. There are too many screens for a re-write to happen all at once, so I have to find a way to call VFP60 forms from the menu. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
