I submitted the following request on 11th June but have not had a response so far:

My VFP7 program is producing an extra, unwanted blank page at the end of a report. The report is in landscape mode and has 128 fields on it which matches the 128 fields in the database. There is no extra "empty" line in the database that would cause the blank page.

The last six fields across the bottom of the detail band of the report report are memos and can have strings up to 200 bytes in them. I use the 'Stretch with overflow' set on and the ALLTRIM function on the field to ensure there are no spurious spaces, etc, included. However, if I turn the 'Stretch with overflow' off the extra page does NOT print, but the field data is truncated at the end of the first line and doesn't wrap around to the next line. The problem occurs whether I have the field position set to 'Float' or 'Fix relative to top of band'.

One other thing that I notice, is that the whole report layout on the page moves down slightly from the second and subsequent pages.

** Since submitting this request, I have now determined that the extra blank page only occurs when there is data in the far right (ie 6th) memo field of the report.

Any suggestions as to the cause of this problem and a resolution would be most appreciated.
