Some may compete, some may complement. For example, if you are using MM.Net I'm sure the Data Access block Error Handling block wouldn't help you much, that's stuff in mm.net and probably done a little better.

However, the Applicaiton Updater Block or the User Interface Process block may add to what you already have.

I guess my point is, if a framework abstracts the same problems then you don't want to use the app block... but, if the framework doesn't address the problem then the app block will help allot.

I also thing there are a few frameworks out there that use some of the blocks directly.
