At some point, people are going to realize that VFP is not any more "data-centric" than other tools? Seriously, is VFP more "data centric" than SQL Server? Guys like Walter theorize that becuase the VFP language is tightly bound with data-related constructs, that makes it "data centric". The only thing that really distinguishes VFP from other tools is that it is client-based. In the end, the only difference is geography... Finally, if people are looking to push and sell VFP, being able to munge data on the client is fairly insignificant thing in the grand scheme of things.
