As I am always interested to see whats "out there" I spent a few hours looking through their site and reading the docs and I must say that if what the marketing blurb says is true then thats quite a product.

Amongst a few other claims about the product: it has its own RDBMS but can also connect to all major SQL databases and even xbase files, can produce Win32 exe or .Net assemblies, includes integrated reporting in various output formats including PDF, integrated charting, integrated xml/html support, large database sizes in both record count and physical size, can develop for Pocket PC machines as well, multi-lingual support, integrated UML support, and then some. Its an impressive feature list.

On the downside I get the impression that its primarily a product marketed and used in France where the original development takes place. No disrespect to France but for corporate users outside France I would expect the same reaction that VFP gets i.e. "What's that product??". I also get the impression that the community around it is relatively small compared to VFP which in turn is smaller than some other dev tools. But, hey, for shrink wrap development it seems worth a look.

I have not downloaded the demo version. Still busy docking forms in VFP9!

The main drawback of course is that its not VFP ;)
