Hi Sergey,

Well, learn something new every day. I didn't realize varchar and char data types where treated differently in comparisons. Couldn't find anything in BOL explaining this.

Unfortunatly, this database is being replicated, so making changes to the data structures is a pain. I suppose I'll have to add an index until the next time we re-create the publications and snapshots.
