Well, can you give us more info then? How do you call the form in the case where it refreshes, and what code do you use in the other case?

>No, I'm well aware of the existence of the LockScreen property and I already checked that! No, that's not the problem. However, it somehow seems that VFP is locked completely when I try to refresh my form. When I click on the VFP title bar while processing my program, to force VFP to refresh, a white bar appears where the menubar should be and the taskmanager shows VFP as 'not responding'. After my program is done processing, everything turns back to normal. And again: this only happens if I do some other things than just starting my program after VFP is started.
