I understand and agree, believe me. It took a year for me before things started to 'sink in'.
There's a greater discipline required in working with .NET. On the other hand, there's a common statement about VFP that you can "fake it 'til you make it".
While that initially sounds a bit harsh, it does reflect what one can 'get away with' in VFP, and also the initial shock that many feel when moving to .NET.
Sort of like going from Lt. Col. Henry Blake to Col. Sherman Potter. ;)
I do agree that some of the RAD capabilities could have been better. It is what it is until Whidbey comes out.
