Neil,

I will be looking forward to chating with you again on UT.

Terry Carroll

>I too have used several frameworks, after beginning with code book, and settled on mm.vfp many years ago. When mm.net was in beta I jumped at it and have migrated up to the present version. I have a library of bizobjs that I use interchangeably in Windows forms and Web apps. Complete code reuse. I should mention that I did the same with mm.vfp and continue to support vfp apps with web interfaces via the reuse of mm.vfp bizobjs. Everytime I create a mm.net bizobj I feel as if I am making an investment in future projects. Best of luck and hope to meet you on UT in the near future. In closing I would like to leave you with this. UI is cool but the stuff that really greases the gears is the stuff that you get in mm.net. :) Also... may I add that Kevin is the ultimate professional and is always out there monitoring everything we do and say. Kevin has always jumped in whenever an issue required it. I have never been left to scratch my head for very long. Everthing that he

>>Hi Neil,

>>Thank you very much for your reply and offer to help. After I finished the Jump Start Web sample I wasn't sure what I had, it didn't seem to be a completed app so I was at first freaked that the framework was not yet ready for prime time. I'm making progress on my problem I posted in another thread and will in time learn how to integrate the biz objects into a web UI. The jump-start app created more questions than it answered but I'm confident it to will improve in future releases.

>>>Hi Terry,
>>>I am using mm.net in a production web application, which allows multiple orthodontic branch offices and business offices to share data. I had to connect to data that was 15 years old that was being used on a day to day basis and could not be changed. Through the use of mm.net bizobjs and a custom dataaccessclass I am able to read and write to very old FPW2.6 tables devoid of a database container and it's associated metadata. I am able to databind to all of the mm.net controls and have several third party controls bound to data via mm.net bizobjs also. I am also using SQL server as my sercurity data store. Most of my new efforts utilize vfp as my data store. Just a little web.config tickering and my app connects to fpw2.6, vfp8, sql server and xml seamlessly .
>>>
>>> If I can be of any help please contact me. Before mm.net I did not know how to bring all of these datastores together in one application not to mention all of them connected via the Internet. I am not a professional programmer and the mm.net framework makes me feel as if anything is possible. No limitations.... and every upgrade is filled with great stuff. I often follow the threads on UT and can't even relate to the problems being posted because mm.net had those same issues solved years before. mm.net frees me up for the important stuff. And.... just reading the mm.net classes is a lesson in .net development and programming and in and of itself is worth the purchase price.

There is no way to bind to any row other than rows[0] so how can data be edited in a one to many scenario?
