I've been doing some more testing and indeed the extensive SQL processing seems to cause the problem.
What puzzles me however, is that the refreshing of the form works fine when I start my program immediately after starting VFP. When I do some other things before starting my program, refreshing does not work ok. Is there any way to 'clean up' the environment at the start of my program that might solve this problem?
