It does not seem to be the space. It looks to me that the servername is not being found and/or you do not have sufficient access to the folder. Is the folder in that server shared? In that case, try mapping it to a drive letter and use the letter instead and it shuld work.

Something like: File("v:\drawings\wgen\release pdf\fai_scanned_documents/856031-401D_1.pdf")
