I'm not aware of any announcements for a vfp9 book, but between the following:

- all the threads on this forum dealing with VFP9
- The articles that I'm sure you'll see in FoxTalk and FoxPro Advisor in the coming months on VFP9
- Ken Levy's MSDN announcements
- The help file

...you're probably looking at *much* of the same content that you'd see in a 'what's new in 9' book. I base part of that on the 'what's new in VFP8'...it was certainly a good book, but the things I mentioned above (plus the Code Focus issue that dealt with VFP8) covered much of the same material that was in the book.
