I guess when one is under pressure some blindess takes over. The table update wasn't working b/c in the updatenamelist I was putting the cursor name instead of a table name. I also realized that I was using DBGETPROP() instead of SQLGETPROP() to get the string name. Man, I feel so dumb.

Still strange about being able to query tables from a dbc that is not the one specified in the connection string.
