Were you able to peruse the raw HTML for mismatched tags, etc?

There are so many little things that could cause the behavior that guessing at the cause is not likely to identify the problem. The surest way is to examine the raw HTML for mismatched tags and to look through the data for embedded greater-than or less-than characters.
