No, I don't have the emails we exchanged (it would be at least 2 years ago now) but as far as I can remember the reason was just that it was beta and you didn't think it was of high enough quality which we understood and so left it at that. And it wasn't us that recieved the fully functioning version.
However, I have received your email containing the full version this morning. It is much appreciated, however we won't be able to use it as this version of our software is being released today.
And we do understand that beta means that it isn't 100%, however it is normal practice that when software is released in a beta form that all artificial limitations such as time based warning messages etc are documented in the release notes.
