Sorry for not getting back sooner about what I changed in the class. I sent another thread last night and saw this email.
I changed/added the following:
1. Added code to "bark" at the user and print an error msg when the user attempted to go beyond the field len specified in the dbc
2. Added functionality to check the dbc for "duplicate" status. If dup is entered, I execute an error routine
3. I mapped my field types to classes to automatically handle further behaviors all text boxes display in app's
4. Also mapped to the caption in the dbc.
