First of all it is good to know that the steel industry is picking up. Or at least it sounds like it. Anyway, do you know that you and I almost do the same thing. I'm not exclusive to steel though. But we integrate AutoCad (mostly P&ID's), with process design, vendor info, production etc all with foxpro... But this is strictly engineering. So, I just thought I would tell you this in case you wanted to talk about product design, things like that. I really like this kind of work, it's very rewarding and fun.
