Jess, I want to thank you for your help. It works fine. Would you please tell me how VFP treats the VarTotal's expression (the IIF() statement) ?
>> VarTotal value will only get a new value (a plus value from credit limit field) if VarGrp resets to 1 (where: VarGrp resets to 1 if VFP encounters another group name). In short the VarTotal only accumulate a plus value from Credit Limit field value one time only on every group name.
