Dean,

You should'nt give too much credit to whatever others say. You should look at what's happening overall. For example. in all the VB developers that were MVPs how many are now VB.Net MVPs. Are there many that preferred to become C# MVPs?

Do you think that as a developer there will be more demand for Vb.Net or C#?

Those were just examples of things to take into consideration.

So it should be up to you to decide which route you'll take. You should'nt use a development language because Bill G. prefers it to another one. You're not Bill G. I'd guess that you're not worth over 40 Billion $. So the impact of Bill G. making errors is not the same as you making errors.

You decision should'nt only based on "I heard somebody say...". It would be better if you learn VB.Net and C#. That's the easy answer. But if you don't have the time or don't want to do that and only develop with one then you'll have to do some analysis of where the market is going.

>>>According to a friend of mine, MS is pushing C# and will eventually faze out VB.NET.
