YAG;
It seems to me that after using Visual Studio Dot NET for many months, that the VB.NET IDE is much more friendly than the C sharp. At any rate I am much more productive using VB.NET. Perhaps more experience with C sharp will change that?
I truly think that Microsoft placed more effort and resource on the VB.NET side of the house. When I go to create a new project what do I see at the top of the list of choices? VB.NET!
Sitting down and deciding to use C sharp because it is perceived as “preferable (for whatever reason) does not seem like the best plan. It may be a bit early to decide which tool to use – if you have a choice.
I do think that exploring VB.NET and C sharp is the best plan for me. There is nothing like experience to help you to make a decision. :)
