Hi Marcia,
I'm not wittingly holding back any info - afaik nothing is going on, at least not that I'm aware of. The code is pretty straight forward, so I'm as puzzled as you.
Anyway, problem's solved so I wont waste any more time speculating.
I have noticed over time that forms and form classes do seem to behave slightly different, and this might be one of those cases.

As we all know <g> or should know, with CreateObject(..) an objects Visible property is .F. and the documentation might be faulty.>

Anyway, setting Visible = .T. before Show seems to solve the problem.>
>I have absolutely no idea why that would make a difference. What else is going on here that you haven't told us < s > ?
