I suggest that in general, you should not send questions that many people can answer, to one particular person.

I don't have VFP handy right now, but I think that SET DATE may be scoped to the current datasession. See the help to confirm is. If it says that the command is "Scoped to the current datasession", that means that you have to set it in each form separately.
