guess ill have to dig thru the archives and find some of my
old papers on 'black box', 'composite design', 'step-wise
refinement', etc and revise for THE MODERN Audience.

unfortunately, it would take entirely too much time to try
and review the last 30yrs of experience and relate it to
OO/etc...
