IT used to be that lawyers were known for long hours and little time with their families. I had to chuckle when I met with a friend of mine (who is a lawyer) and she asked how my daughter was doing. As usual I mentioned that she would be better if I was home more and when I am home if I was not on the computer working so much. I never 'play' on the computer because there is always too much work and I can't even keep up. She suggested I become an attorney because she is home every night and is actually giving her family her full attention while she is there! She doesn't have to spend endless hours doing research because now the legal aids do that :o)
