I'm using .NET Architect 2003. I installed Crystal Reports 9.2 because the reports I need to publish have features not supported by Crystal .NET that came with the .NET installation.

Now the webviewer says Error Creating Control when I drag the viewer on to a page. I think it is looking at the wrong version of the CR assembly or perhaps the 9.2 standard version of CR does not support the webviewer? Anyone clued in to this issue?

I've never run into this myself, so my only super wild guess is an order of intallation issue.

CR 9.2 has to be installed after VS.NET is installed. If VS.NET was ever uninstalled/reinstalled, CR 9.2 has to be reinstalled again.

(And though it probably doesn't apply to you, if CR 9.2 is installed/uninstalled, then a VS.NET install-repair needs to be done, to restore the reporting environment back to CR.NET)

So if your order of installation was OK, then I can't say. If no one else has any idea, you may want to try reinstalling CR 9.2 again anyway.
