Well, I was happy for a little while. Another snag though. Although I can add a viewer now. It's the wrong version. The toolbox has the 9.1.5... viewer control loaded which gives me an incompatible report error. Then when I tried to remove the 9.1.5... viewer and add the 9.2.33... viewer to the toolbox the original error returned "Error creating Control"

I still think it's a web.config file issue but my box has been manipulated so much I have lost track of what's been changed. So I'm going to uninstall-reinstall everything again and document my steps. The other problem is, there is 101 web.config files on my box so when changing the toolbox control it's possible another file in an unknown location is coming into play.

I will also try it on a clean box to see if I have registry issues as a result of all this hacking and reinstalling software many times.

This costing me alot of time. Do you happen to know if just upgrading to CR 10 will cause forward compatibility problems with CR 9.2 generated reports? If seen alot of complaints on the web regarding CR and .net. If I can't display 9.2 reports on an aspx web page this entire effort will be down the tubes.
