I like the idea, I hope that as you work FoxTalk 2.0 you keep the non-wizbang group in mind. I'm a regular guy who works hard every day making a solid product. I don't get to use all the latest and greatest stuff, it has to be worked into a deployment and update pattern. So often the articles are interesting, yet not practical for my use. Not all of us are building a tunnel under the english channel, yet our products are used by 1000 every day to accomplish some mission not as glamorous yet just as important. I'm really excited about vfp 9 and the new report tools, but if they turn into a a cost center or deployment nightmare, they won't be worth the trouble for some of us. Right now, I've read a lot about what may come from them, but I have questions about what will even have to be deployed (_reportpreview.app value?, updated dll's). Deployment for a new application is easy. It's updating that is a major issue and 1000's of us deal with that everyday. I've already seen people ask in the forum about what dll's are going to be required. Most the answers lean towards "you can't deploy now because this is a beta". But for some of us who might be planning on using it, it's a planning question. "If my app is running 7.0 now, what do I have to get on the desk tops, how am I going to get them on the desktop". It's a major reason, in my option, that people don't upgrade.

Thanks for letting me share my thoughts.

Kirk
