I have been looking into how the new VFP report writing generates my existing reports. I notice a lot of my reports will end up with ******** in place of my data.

The data in one of the reports I'm looking at is an Int field with values from 0-1000.

What I find odd is the detail band shows the ******** while the group footer band shows the value correctly.

The width, format exp (99999999999), Type (Numeric) are all the same. The only difference I can see is the group footer has a SUM() calculation and the footer font is Ariel, 8, B instead of Ariel, 8, N.

In general it appears to me that the new writer is more likely to need to trim and use ... or push data over to the next line. But I could just be seeing things.
