Wasn't it Ashton-Tate that had dBase III?

>I remember with borlands dBase III, additional licenses were required for more users. With ISVP rates at 375/Year - I would not be adverse (and neither would my multi-user customers) to servicing an annual fee to MS providing they quit pretending how "backwoods" VFP is and advertise a bit and provide the features that will help VFP developers sell their wares. VFP 8 is an XP themed product, but the activex is Win 95 - whats the the logic or expectation for that?

>>Heya Terry -
>>nice concept - but ? it requires marketing money and a marketing campaign.

>>MS has made it quite clear, since the release of VFP 6, that it will only market VFP to existing developers.

>>End of Story ? Sure seems that way for the past 5 years now, as from time to time the MS VFP Product Manager reminds us of that fact.
