Walter,

>Nor is it your job to critisize him this way.

I did not critisize Fabio. I said that his bug post was not up to the standards of a good bug report.

>David, on what authority do you say this is not sufficient? His example is clear whenever you run it. I find this an excellent way of reporting bugs as he provides a cut-and-paste example that shows the problem. In fact this is all the VFPT has to do cut-paste and observe the problem.

I base in on being a beta tester of VFP since VFP3. As well as what Randy has posted with regards to what makes a good bug report. Do you comprehend that what Fabio "sees" might not be seen under every O/S or video configuration? And that words describing the fault are much better than drawing arrows. So what does that arrow on the left side mean exactly? You can not say with 100% assurance, not unless you are looking over his shoulder right now. Does Fabio's display also have a break in the drawing of the pageframe border there too? Or does he have a break on the leftt side and not the right? Does he see some other sort of problem? based on his bug report, no one but him knows what he sees or doesn't see. That makes it a useless bug report, regardless of how you and Jim feel about the matter.

>Personally I find your attitude a very arrogant one. You've been critisizing Fabio here from day1 when he started posting problems and bugs.

Walter go back and look at the real record. The "contrarian" posts I've made in Fabio's threads are not in the threads where he has found a bug in VFP. Just because he doesn't like the way nulls work or the way Xbase handles floating point arithmetic does not mean that it's a VFP bug.

>Fabio did and does a tremendous job in reporting problems and bug which is a benefit to us al. He has a great contribution in providing the VFPT information to make VFP9 the most stable and bugless version ever.

Again I refer you to go back and look at the record of the threads here in the VFP9 beta category. We all want a bugless VFP. That is best achieved by people making good bug reports.

>You seem to have a personal problem with Fabio here. It would suit you if you'd keep that between Fabio and yourself and not make the whole UT part of it.

You and Jim are the ones that have blown whole thing vastly out of proportion. I don't have to justify or clear my posts through either of you before I make them. Like I told Jim last night I'm at EOT on this.
