Walter,

>Any bugreport is welcome, no matter how bad they´re constructed in the eye of some people up here. My time is valuable as I think Fabios´ is. He´s willing to spend a lot of time of creating high quality reproducable examples up here.

A bug report is more than repro code. The time taken to put those darned arrows on the page is more than it would take to write a sentence or two describing the visual fault he is seeing. I'd wager too that someone at Microsoft could translate it from Italian if English is not an efficient choice for him.

>I´d rather see him post more bugs

I'd rather see him post complete bug reports.

> than totally living up to your or anyones standard.

It's Microsoft's standard. If he really want's his bug reports handled and handled efficiently, meeting that standard accomplishes that goal.

> The described example is clear, period.

No it's not clear, you weren't able to answer those couple of questions that I asked you about the arrows. The person researching/logging the bug at Microsoft has the same and probably more questions to get into the bug report.

>I don´t know how to post a proper bugreport and though I´m willing to post it up here, I´m not going to any efforts to fit it into any format someone posted up here, if I have to spend more than a few seconds on it. Take it or leave it. I´m willing to post my findings, but if you or anyone else is going to nag and complain about the format of the official bugreport, then I would not bother to.

That's your choice, and on the whole it doesn't do as much good for Europa as it could. If you posted as bad a bug report you could expect a similar reply.

>We as a community are doing the VFPT and ourselve a great favour to invest this time in bugtesting, so there is little to no reason to belittle anyone on not writing in the "proper" format. We can spend our time more wisely IMO to nag about insignificant things.

>The time you spend on this matter you could have used to reformat at least 10 messages of fabio to live up to your standard. That would have been way more constructive than what you´ve been doing up to now.

Same to you Walter.
