I have a report with two report variables summing on the same value, one which resets at the end of the group, the other at the end of the report, to give me a group total and report total. When I copied the report total into the group summary band to give me a running total, strange things happened. For the first two groups, the value was completely empty, but it then totalled correctly for rest of the report.

Why isn't it working properly for the first *two*? I might understand the first one if it was a timing issue when it was counted, but I've changed the Zorder and it's still empty.
