David,

>>If I go to the garage to check up my car I just say what is wrong with my car. I don't want to fill in a number of papers in a structured form to indicate what is wrong with my car. I really don't care what MS standard is, I'm a Microsoft customer not an employee, what an arrogance !! A bugreport is a bugreport and I really don't care how it is constructed, as long as it is clear.

>If you (and Fabio based on his reply to you) do not see the critical importance of the content for environment, observation and expectation then there is not much I can do that will change your mind(s).

True, there is not much you can do about that. The sudden need for using a templated content for bugreports is totally beyond me. I've posted quite a few bugs up here and this was never an issue, even with direct communication with the VFPT.

To hide, behind arguments like "it might be your video card" does not convince me either. If a bug is not reproducable at the other side, it will be either ignored or there will be a discussion about the circumstances. And this all with the whole VFP community in between. Video cards are not the only factors that could lead to bugs, other installed software, other hardware, language settings, etc could well be either. It is pointless to list your whole configuration here on the thread.

>>I did not see your questions

>The questions are still there, please feel free to go back and review them. But considering that the only possible answers prove my point I don't expect a reply.

I wasted some of my time to find your questions, but I could not find them. Care to draw a link ?

>>I'd rather see good reprocode and somewhat limited description as a detailed description without any reprocode.

>Since you aren't the one processing these bug reports what you'd rather see is irrelevant.

Since you aren't either, your opinion is irrelevant also.

>Walter - this is just another in the great pile of items on which you and I fundamentally disagree, and that obviously will not change.

That is surely one thing we agree upon.
