>It is a security issue. Go to dcomcnfg. Look for Microsoft Excel under DCOM. Under identity tabl select launching user. Also, under security tab, customize the launching permissions( basically add the user under whos context the word automation will take place).
>Play with the DCOM config. I did it in asp.net. I could not use a com + ( hence context user) because MS does not provide a strong signed dll for word2000 so I had to run everything under IIS_USR context.
