I hope someone can help me with this. I recently had a request from a client to be able to enter some Chinese characters into a field of my application. I found the excellent paper by Steven Black that explained how to do this and all appeared to be fine.

However :-( changing this setting has stopped any accented characters (eg èéòö) from displaying.

Does any one know of a way that both Chinese and European characters can be displayed simultaneously?
