Since when is "common man" <> "PUTM" ? I've been a PUTM for a long time so I cannot comment on what you can do and can't do withouth it, but before I became one, it was possible to search, but it was impossible to click the link. Then you have to search for that message via the calendar.
Anyways, not a very strong argument IMO. Any serious VFP developer has the choice to become a PUTM for a reasonable price a year. I can also imagine that bugs are listed in a seperate section like the wishlist, that would be accesible for everyone.
