In my last response, I pointed out problems with "SET STEP ON". Frustrated trying to get VFPSkins to work, I went on to another project. Imagine my surprise when "SET STEP ON" wouldn't work there either. How can one program without debugging?

Multiple re-installs later, I realized the "SET STEP ON" problem had nothing to do with VFPSkins. Instead, it was due to a corrupted FOXUSER file. Deleting that made all the problems go away. So, now I'm embarrassed at what I thought was a VFPSkins problem. But, the vendor's lack of support is still a concern.

However, now that my test VFP Skins form is working OK, I did find some real issues with VFPSkins. After re-skinning a form, some item's placement is goofy: I separate a ComboBox with 3d lines above and below it. After skinning, the ComboBox is on top of the 3d line above it.

Further, Label, TextBox and CommandButton's Alignment properties are not respected. Label and TextBox Alignments are set to 0-Left regardless of their initial settings; CommandBoxes with text and a picture have their PicturePosition changed also.

Is there any way I can readily correct this? Are these known bugs?

Again, your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Ken
