>>I agree, but it is still a bug. I've got a simular problem in a sunken container. Is it critical? no ! Is it ugly? yes. Should the VFPT fix this ? If it is easy to fix, yes please !!

>If it's easy, sure, fix it. However, neither of us nor Fabio can say for sure.

Hence the bugreport

>>I disagree. The report showed at least one bug, so it was clear there was a bug. He could have been more clear what he ment with the second arrow of course, but this IMO is absolutely no reason to DISMISS this a useless bugreport in a DESTRUCTIVE manner.

>There seems to be a double standard at work here. What someone who is viewed as being in the "in-crowd" criticizes someone, it's viewed as being "destructive", "negative", "doesn't like" that person. OTOH, when someone who isn't viewed as being in the "in-crowd" does something similar, or even goes to the length of blantantly insulting someone, that's OK.

>Pardon me, but no, it isn't "OK" and won't ever be.

The term "in the crowd" is not mine, but jims, and I did not read his messages in the extend I could see insults. And yes, maybe its true I and others look at messages from "in crowd" more critical than others. As I said before in a discussion with CraigB. The "in crowd" have an eshtablished postion up here. IMO, In most cases those people have earned their MVP status or other status by its contribution to the VFP community. They are respected by many people up here. Yes even me. People listen to them and therefor they are valuable to the VFP community.

HOWEVER

When someone "in-crowd" is making a mistake, don't expect us to be silent. And if he/she is rude to people, my allergy comes into play. You could draw a parrallel to the following:

When the "towns id*iot" is yelling that all blacks should be slaves or killed, noone is listening. However if a priest of your church or a mayor or gouvenor is saying this, then it is time to speak up.
