Is the exe running on the server or the local machine? If it is running on the server I would look into an apploader (i.e. a program that copies the latest version of your exe and DLLs to the local machine and then runs the application from the local machine). I would also reccomend this when running apps on a LAN.
Is the data stored in fox tables or in a different database server (i.e. MSSQL, MYSQL, etc.)?
I have not noticed any problems running a foxpro app over WAN (ofcourse it is slower than LAN but that is expected).
