Your browser won't allow you to see cookies that aren't for that domain. You will need to set the domain for that particular cookie. This is a security precaution, this is so I don't write a little script that sets a UserID for a "Yahoo" domain, and then Yahoo's web site would see that cookie and think I have access to particular web site, simply because I have that cookie.

You do need to check where you are setting a persistent cookie or a session cookie, and if you are setting a persistent cookie make sure it isn't expiring before you check to see if it is there.
