Well, please don't use my post as proof that it is possible. :)

Powerbuilder apparently does have built-in data handling abilities, and has language statements (as apposed to function calls) that are used to manipulate that data. I was told that those language statements are still available.

However, it's not real clear as to whether the entire Powerbuilder product is .NET. The beta-version (Powerbuilder v 10), has a component called DataWindow.NET. I posted a link elsewhere in this thread.

I'd like to see it to learn more, but have no desire to become a Powerbuilder developer :)

And look at WebDev, a French product. The same dev tool runs code for Windows, .Net, Pocket PC, and they say they are looking at a Linux version. There is a way. But is there a will? Is there enough money in it?
