I remember a poll a while ago that asked people why they don't use VFP... the overriding answer was the learning curve. MS said this was their motivation to introduce the _FFC in VFP 6.0.

Remember, while vfp only has a hand full of base classes, I think someone said there are over 8000 commands, functions and methods...
