Neil,

>I was just saying that Flushing of the Project edits would be nice, as having lost 4-6hrs of work while prototying a new system or concept on several occasions, (due to a typo causing the C05) it would be nice to return to the project as it was just prior to the crash.

Well honestly rebuilding a project isn't that big a deal, add the MAIN and tell it to build. If everything is on your path it's trivial. If not you have to go through a few locate dialogs.

A autoflush on add would be nice, but you can accomplish the same thing with project close/open cycle. Which you ought to be doing more often than normal while working with beta software.

>I may be asking for to much, but, if I answer "Yes" to a "Do you want to save the Changes" prompt, I would expect it to be saved, regardless of whether VFP crashes when running the PRG that was just saved.

Are you saying you've lost committed changes to PRG files? Do you have write caching enabled on the disk?

>Also the problem occurs in VFP8 SP1 as well.

I don't really see that many crashes in VFP8.
