I attended a Microsoft PacWest event two weeks ago where drag and drop data binding was demonstrated. I think a VFP developer would be very comfortable with this. Given that the SQl Server is out-of-process vis a vis the WinForm, the bindings aren't trivial although this process might be aided by SQL Server Yukon hosts the .NET CLR. I did try drag and drop from the Data Explorer in the VFP 9 beta, but that functionality wasn't there. I don't know if there any plans to incorporate this when VFP 9 ships.
